Importazione manuale

Forse sarebbe meglio usare lo speciale:Esporta pagine

Se volete importare articoli da WT per mano, vedete de:Wikivoyage:Wie Inhalte von anderen Wikis übernommen werden können (solo in tedesco). Se volete importare un esporto fatto con "Speciale:Esporta pagine", chiedetemi prima.

Bene, sai come funziona? Salvi l'esporto in un file e dopo usi Speciale:Importa per importarlo. Sarebbe facile, ma... Se importi l'articolo cosi, gli utenti di WT/it parono come utenti di WV/it. Per disambigare, devi modificare il file XML prima del'importo. Cambi "<username>" -> "<username>(WT/it) " per tutto il file. Dopo puoi importarlo. Tutto si svilupa molto rapido e gia mi piace molto. Va a diventare buonissima. Per gli immagini dovete avere un poco di pazienza. Il download di 2.500 file bisogna di tempo e devo anche fare qualche adazione prima di importare. Per adesso, devo fare cose in vita reale. Domani avro poco tempo. Le foto in WT/it potrebbero essere scaricate qui e non su shared? Abbiamo bisogno di fare una selezione prima di trasferirle su Shared. Il template è identico (Information) per cui non sarà difficile.Utente:Gobbler

Se sarebbe piu facile per voi, potrei mettere in funziona la scaricata delle immagini qui su it:. Ma quando appriamo il wiki per l'uso publico, tutte le immagini devono essere trasferrite su shared:. Per aiutare con la selezione, sarebbe facile per me di trovare tutte le immagini che mancano e scaricarle. Ma se volete, posso anche scaricare tutte le immagini da WT/it. Depende di voi. Io ed Airin abbiamo bisogno di una e-mail per scrivere agli enti turistici. E' molto importante per WV perchè saranno gli stessi funzionari a creare gli articoli che loro interessano ma non è urgente c'è tempo ancora. Utente:Gobbler

I don't intent to delete the images in the next days, but they should not be kept unpatroled for too much time. Anyway, it's almost the same description page as they have on WT, so it can't be too wrong.

There are some few images without author, source and license. Probably, those need to be deleted, and even on WT they had to. Most others do have the neccessary information, but not in the format the bot could understand. It would be enough, although still a lot of work, to bring the description page in a form that uses the Information template. Be aware, key names are case sensitive. I'm not yet sure how about images from Flickr. Keep them as they are. I'll ask Bobo11, he is a copyright specialist. If he agrees, we simply can write a new Flickr template as on WT.

1. La preparazione in publico. - Tutti possono legere il wiki, ma solo gli amminitratori possono fare modifiche.
2. La propria apertura. - Tutti possono fare modifiche.

Volevo aprire il wiki solo nel senso di 1. Ma se pensate che sia meglio di lasciare tutto come e per il momento, lo lascio cosi.

Importazione

Mehreres:

1. Du ahst nur die letzte Version exportiert und importiert. OK, das geht, aber dann musst du auf jeden Fall von Hand eine Attribuierung machen.
2. Die importierte Version ist älter als die letzte Version hier. Damit steht sie zwar in der cronologia, aber sie ist nicht die aktuelle Version und ist deshalb auch nicht sichtbar.
3. Die importierte Version war von dir selbst. Aber wenn du Versionen anderer Autoren importierst, musst du vorher die XML-Datei bearbeiten und vor jeden Benutzernamen "(WT/it) " setzen. Außerdem sollte im Kommentar stehen, dass es ein Import von WT/it ist. Ich mache das normalerweise per Skript.

Turkey Divisions

I know, I was heretyc about country divisions (see Tracia). Anyway "Trakya" is a geographical and tourist region w:tr:Trakya. I removed any article related to provinces. They have same name with capital City. I avoid following the administrative division of each country (It may change). No tourist guide follows it. Anyway I am aware of having caused a problem and accept the conclusions of the German users. Consider that I'm not able to follow the matter. Since 1970 Official Tourist Authority of Turkey has split the country into tourist regions (No change since then). In my opinion this is the pattern for us. Just look on their site.

Same matter with Iran and Kazakhstan divisions

Consider that I can make divisions of Greece in easy way. Sometime Tourist Regions are not the same with Greek administrative regions. (Elide, Acaia are part of Peloponneso and not of West Greece). Kythira Island is an ubiquitous location. There is no mention on shared to Lassithi (East Crete). Waiting for your green light.

Sorry, I fear you have missunderstood me. I didn't want to critisize your work in no way. Maybe I didn't explain well what the discussion on de: was about. Let me explain in more detail:

In the linked talk page on de:, there have been different oppinions about how to divide Turkey. So far, this seemed to be only a de: problem. But actually, it isn't. I have told the de: guys that this question cannot be solved on de:, but needs to be discussed among all experts for Turkey of all langugae versions in a common. This is because modifications on the hierachy now affect all language version. At the other hand, maintaining one single hierarchical tree is the only way to take profit of the location DB as a central data repository.

So, when I asked you to take part on the expert talks, this was rather an invitation and by no means a criticism. I have asked you because I hoped you would bring in your knowledge for finding a common solution.

Now, concerning Greece, I think you are the only real expert on Wikivoyage. Make the division you think it is the best and we on de: will be happy to profit from your work. I will tell Roland that you care for Greece. He is working massively on the locDB and I want to make sure that he won't work crossover to you.
