I don't understand the new image you add. It's seem that Swedish is not talked in the whole Sweden. Could you explain it? Andyrom75 (discussioni) 09:53, 23 set 2022 (CEST)
- Hi Andyrom,
- I don't know exactly what the designer of that map intended, but Swedish is not the only language spoken in Sweden. Besides the possibility of Norwegian and Finnish along the borders, there are the Sami (Lappish) languages. There are 5 Sami languages native to Sweden. Lule Sami and North Sami are spoken by 5,000 or so people in the sparsely-inhabited north of the country. There are also languages that the Swedish government calls "dialects" but which are really as distinct as Danish is, though I believe those are nearly extinct. - Well, the map is supposed to show where the Swedish is spoken around the world, regardless the fact other languages/dialects are spoken in the same area (as happens in the Finnish area). That said, IMHO, the whole Sweden should be highlighted as done in the previous map (please check it). So I would tend to restore the previous map.
