The historic center of Molfetta, it is the oldest district of the city with many things to see, in this area there are many palaces, churches owned by rich families  who lived in the historic center.

A very important family is the Passari family, owner of a very caratheristic palace from the 1600s and of the famous Torrione passari which was a torre of avvistament in antiquity, today from the top floor we can admire the panorama  from Molfetta on the sea side.

You can go around on foot, the old city is very small but is full of tradition,people and locals.

If you want taste the typical dishes of Molfetta,on the principal street(via piazza) there are many restaurants for slow food or if you prefere fast food, must go to typical apulian bakery where there is a big selection of “frittelle”, taralli ecc.

In the nearby of the old town, there is the “Molo San Corrado”, a public spaces, very modern where people go for drink something with a beautiful landscape.
