Bari is a wonderful city on the sea in the middle of Apulia(south of Italy).
You can get this destination by plane,bycar,by bus and by boat from Albania or Macedonia for example.
If you are from London your plane will arrive in Karol Wojitila Airport with Ryanair or Alitalia flight company.
In Bari there are a lot of things to see, especially the old town which is very famous in the history of the city.
In the old city there are many places to eat and drink something.
Typical foods are focaccia,patateriso and cozze,panzerotti, orecchiette con le rape and also fish which is too much fished here.
A good place to eat a delicious pizza is Caldò Food and Fashion and another place is Venezia 40(to eat panzerotti).
You can explore the city by bus. The public transport is called Amtab.
If you have a car you can park and pay from Monday to Saturday 8.30 a.m.-20.30.pm.
Sunday parking is free.
If you have checked an hotel in the centre of Bari the old town takes 15 minuts on foot.

Saint Nicolas is the patron saint of the town and to him is devoted the church.The Basilica di San Nicola One of southern Italy's most important cathedrals.(Piazza San Nicola; www.basilicasannicola.it; 7am-1pm & 4-7pm Mon-Sat, 7am-1pm & 4.9pm Sunday).
Every year in the night between 5th and 6th December you stay up all night to venerate Saint Nicolas.
The next day you drink a cup of hot chocolate with popizze(typical fried “balls” of Bari).
Another important monument is the cathedral of Saint Sabino but it is in the Gotic Style.
A famous event which is every year in September is the Fiera del Levante where you can see some stands about cars,stands of countries(tradition of that country) but now is used also for conferences and musical events of famous artists.
Another event is the Bifest which is the festival of the cinema of every year. You can see your favourite films or listen some artists during the concerts.
Be careful when you walk around the streets of Bari during the night because there is always someone who drink a lot or take part of criminality group(Sacra corona unita)
I recommend visiting Bari as a city because you will love it immediately.
