Hello, I'm Camelia, I was born in Romania, but I live in Rome since 1992. I was Wikimedia Italy's coordinator for Education in Lazio region from October 2015 since March 2017, interested in software development, Wiki Loves Monuments, education, STEM fields and gender gap. I am co-founder of WikiDonne User Group, I created WikiDonne project and Feminism Portal in italian Wikipedia. I am a wikipedian since March 18th 2007 and wikimedian since September of the same year. WMI member from the beginning (2007), member of WLM Italy jury, WMSE member since 2017 and a fresh 2018's WMAR and WMCH member. I work as Java EE developer and I am a AffCom member since 16 january 2017.
I think that user groups are the first entities to grow up our comunity, because they are present on the territory. We need to involve in our projects young people (for the generational exchange) and women (to fill the gender gap and for diversity - to have e different point of view). I am mostely active in it.wikipedia and commons.wikimedia, but also in ro.wikipedia & en.wikipedia, itWikiquote, itWikibooks and Wikidata. As member of AffCom, with my colleagues I love help affiliates to organize and solve conflicts, I'm part of the Wikimedia Diversity Group, of Gender gap task force team and an ambassador of open knowledge / opendata (so I'm in love with Wikidata).
