Bari

Bari is a small town situated in Puglia, in the South of Italy. At first it was concentrated in the old part but consenquently it became bigger when citizens started to build over the sea, overcoming the muraglia; Bari is known for his famous saint "San Nicola" , in fact every year people from all over the world, mostly from Russia, come here to admire his bones, pray and have fun celebreting. At the moment it is running for being the European Capital of Culture 2022.

How to have fun

Bari offers a lot of different ways to have fun, first of all you can get around in the center of the town and have a nice walk along the seafront. Moreover, people use to "jump" from a place to another meeting all their friends at the most popular point of reference such as Piazza del Ferrarese, Piazza Mercantile, Parco Due Giugno or just sitting in front of a delicious cup of coffee.

Near to the station, you can enjoy a good film at the amazing Galleria cinema, going to the huge Petruzzelli theatre or playing snooker at the Snooker play game.

If you want to join the barese life, take a beer and a piece of Focaccia watching the sea from the Chiringuito.
