Barletta is an Italian council situated in the south of Italy ,chief town with Andria and Trani where it comes the name BAT. During the summer season there are a lot of foreign tourists as Germans and French for visiting the old town where we can find different attractions such as the castello svevo , the statue of heraclius etc... But, in this country there is a wonderful kilometrical coast road divided into east and west. To separate the two long stretches of fine sand is the port of Barletta: bordered by two asymmetrical piers, those of "ponente" and "levante". This locality hosts the trabucco and the fishermen's dock and is home to all port activities. These coast road offers free beaches and numerous beaches with private structures for the summer. Moreover, the coast of Ponente is important for have been dedicated to the sailor Pietro Mennea , in fact it is so long that is compared to Miami for the tall palm trees that line its waterfront. The coast road offers also the possibility of practicing sports like surfing and kitesurfing.
